FRP Presents: PFX 1.2!

I’ve been seeing requests for it all over the forums, and I figured it was about time someone did something about it. Although it’s probably not as robust or as put together as Alex’s EZFX, this pack comes with around 216 FX that I’ve made over the years + custom sounds that I’ve found to be suitable. A LOT of work went into this pack, and it may have its fair share of issues. If you happen to come across an error or two, please don’t hesitate to let us know either here in the comment section, on FR, or from the “Contact Us” button up above. Many thanks to The Ultimate Evil, Murs47, Electro, Tomato, Tommyboy, Beyonder, and others who’ve helped me create (or have created) all these fx over the years.
- This pack is set up to install into the BASE directory of FFv3R. If you want the FX to appear in FFX or other mods, you’ll need to merge or exchange your FX.dat and Sound.dat files. Make sure to back-up!
- This pack does come with some old fx that haven’t been put up on the site and some newer fx that were never released in any of the previous packs.

Marvel Pack + new skin!

I know you guys got tired of waiting for my next FX pack; well, good news… it’s finally here! The Marvel pack, which is 60 fx big, is finally out. It comes packed with FX for characters such as Spider-man, Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Green Goblin, Wonder Woman, and much more! On the skinning side of things, Chuckles releases his ultimate Scarlet Witch skin. Hope you guys enjoy the new content.
As a side note, the “Spotlight On…” might come a little later this week.
How to Install Custom Sounds in FFVTTR

The question has popped up enough that I took the time to write a small guide on it. Hopefully, this helps anyone that found the installation of FX sounds difficult.
Cooling off…literally

Looks like FRP finally hit the cooling off area, so I suppose everyone can stop expecting weekly updates of content even though no content was released last week as well. Anyway, this week on FRP you can grab a single old school fx known as the “snowflake beam,” and you can check out coding tip numero nueve! Anyone looking to get into the very basics of python coding might want to give that tip a read. Also, I want to point out that two new links were added to the links sidebar: LP’s Repository and TMX’s Herofile site. Go check them out. Finally, before I end this post, I want to link to The Ultimate Evil’s blog which you can find here. Who knows, maybe you’ll enjoy what you see?

New week, New release(s)!

This week on FRP2, we return from the week of nothing new with a few little gifts for you to shower your game with. Firstly, Torch, a member from the FR community, brings you a new mod focusing on the West Coast Avengers. That’s right, folks! Torch allows FRP2 to host its first EZScript mod. Secondly, a new Spotlight on the skinner/mesher Tomato. Lastly, two old school FFVTTR fx that didn’t have a home for awhile. That’s good enough, right?

Pretty big update this week. You can now go grab 7 new maps from CmdrKoenig that ranges from Forestry to castles. Also up for grabs, two old school fx that were made several years ago, a new coding tip, and, if you missed it, two spotlights. One on Ultimate Evil, and one on The Beyonder. Oh, yeah, I finally put up a simple link widget.

Another week, another update. This time, you can grab the mission 5 and 6 addon to the X-mod by FFjands, get three new fx, and finally, if you fancy it, read two new coding tips. Enjoy.
Old School, New School

It’s been about a week since FRP2 went public and I’m proud to present quite a few new toys for you guys to play with. Included in this update are four old school ff1 mods some of you might remember from various people from the community of Freedom Reborn, 4 old fx that were released awhile ago but weren’t publicly available for some time, and some other misc. items that may or may not catch your eye. Go check them out, yeah?
Oh, right, the RSS feed was also updated and fixed for those that use such things.
On the horizon:
1. Hopefully some more CmdrKoenig maps that have been held off
2. Maybe some more old fx from the vault
3. Perhaps some more old school mods
4. More Misc. bloggage posts.
5. Two or so more Syn meshes which may or may not include a batmobile and/or Dr. StrangeFate.
6. A link page for more FF/FFVTTR goods…hopefully.
More New Stuff!

As the blog post below this one points out, Cmdrkoenig has FINALLY released a few new maps-eleven (11) in total, so go check those out. Also included in this update, the completed version of Ultimate Trio + a mission 5 update for those with the previous four (4) missions, which also includes some minor fixes. Also up, my second fx pack with 40+ new fx for you to install and play with. Hope you enjoy them!
On the horizon:
1. The blog will branch out to be a bit more general.
2. Dana has a few more maps he’ll be releasing
3. Chuckles is holding onto a few new skins he’s yet to complete
4. Maybe some other stuff I won’t be mentioning as of now.
5. Some old school ff1 mods from Jands and Lude such as Herocity and a few other mods that may or may not be complete.
Grand Opening…

Welcome to FRP 2.0!
You may be wondering why a new site was needed and what’s up with the new look. Well, I hated updating the old site as it took much more work than was necessary. So here we are with a more streamlined, easier to update site.
Included in the launch are several fx I’ve made over the years, the Ultimate Trio Mod, an older map by Conduit that was just released, and a misc. area that’ll be filled with random tidbits that catches the eye. Oh, this blog is new too! Enjoy your stay and hopefully we’ll be showing off new stuff more frequently.
