Hello everybody…I’ve been busy making new FFVTTR maps over the past few months and have recently uploaded several of them. There are also many more maps on the way. I hope you enjoy using them and please give me feedback on things I can do to improve them or if you have any suggestions for future maps.

great maps. you should post these on Freedom-United!
several of the maps are not working properly for me.
hell – black/blank terrain and missing textures.
mining colony – appears to be dungeon not outdoors
medieval village – crashes the game
volcanic caves – textures are low rez but in your previews they look great and hirez.
rockies – crashes game.

Hi Simo,
The Hell map should be fixed now, as should the Mining Colony (there are two maps…One inside and the other outside, but the outside one wasn’t working…I believe I’ve fixed it…I hope). Go and re-download them and give them a try.
Oy…I don’t know why Some crash the game…I’ll have to check them out too. I don’t know what to say about the Volcanic map, all I can think of is my changing the textures from TGA format to DDS.
Thanks for letting me know…I have more work to do, it seems.

I just installed the DS_Rockies map a second ago and it worked fine for me.

The crashing must be your comp, other folks have been able to play those maps.
Both the hell and Mining Colony maps should be fixed and they’re now re-uploaded. The Volcanic Caves textures must be the DDS conversion, I took the pics before I did the conversion.
