Thor? No, Mjolnir!

Since Grenadier decided to give the FF community two more Thor meshes, I decided to begin work on some updated mjolnir throws. Let me know your thoughts, K? They probably won’t be released soon as I haven’t actually done the TGAs for them. I believe the skins that I’m currently using are from a C6 skin. Of course, if he says it’s fine for me to keep them as is, then that’ll up the release date. Yep, I’m that lazy.

I don’t really have anything to update at the moment because the majority of the FRP crew is busy with an assortment of stuffage, but I did want to gloat a bit. As of today, I have 13 pages of Ultimate Trio #3 complete! That’s amazing to me because Trio #2 took about a week to do, and #1 probably took around a month. I guess I’m really inspired of late and all the other comic work + editing (Hello, spotlights and highlights) I’ve done have paid off.
Well, anyway, that’s that. On the Horizon, I plan to edit and put up Evengers Ch. 3. That happens to be one of my favorite sections, so I hope you all read it and give me some feedback. Don’t be afraid to comment, peeps. Cmdrkoenig has shown me quite a bit of work he plans to put up one day soon, Chuckles has been hard at work on new skins, and who knows what else might be in store. Keep an eye out.

Meet The Evengers

Although I haven’t done much with them publicly, The Evengers is a team that is very close to my heart. Part of the villain cast of the Exiles mod, The Evengers were created to be alternate, amalgam versions of some of Marvel’s premier superheroes and some of their collective rogue galleries. What’s an amalgam, you ask? Think of it as a mixture of character traits, ideologies, histories, and/or abilities, though it’s really not limited to just that. Anyway, it was an idea I was really pushing for because I had plans to use them later. Unfortunately, those plans never came to pass, but I was very grateful that at least the skins were created, and I had fleshed out their backgrounds.

2009, Whatta Year (And Surprise)!

2009, what a year, am I right? It’s been a year of trials and tribulations, growth and learning experiences, and things that forced you to break out of your shell and do something new. How funny, if you think about it, I’m also describing the events of the X-men. Even funnier, I’m specifically describing two X-men in particular: Psylocke and Angel. How ironic is that… or maybe it’s just a coincidence that the “X”-lovers also happen to have similarities in their experiences this year. So what better way to end the year than to bring those two non-lovebirds back together for a one-off mission set in current day Marvel? I can’t think of anything better, and apparently they couldn’t either. Pics after the jump.

We at FRP would just like to take some time out and say happy holidays to all those who visit the site. We did have a present planned to premier around this time, but thanks to some unfortunate circumstances, that got pushed back. Oh well. Maybe that project will still pop up, maybe not. We’ll see. But in the meantime, enjoy your holidays, whatever it may be!

Hey gang, sorry for the delay on episode 2 (if you’ve been keeping up). We kinda had our fair share of scheduling errors and conflicts, and that kinda set us back a few weeks. No worries though; episode 2 will definitely be out sometime in the next 7 days… if all goes well. Fingers crossed, right?
Ezscriptin’ and a side of Murs…?

If you haven’t noticed, FRP2 has been on a slight hiatus. However, we’re semi-back now and we come bearing gifts. Do you accept? Yeah? Good! Let’s move forward! This week on FRP2, a new mod has been added to our toybox! What mod you ask? Oh nothing. Just another ezscript mod revolving around the Legion of Superheroes! Go and play it, ok? And you can thank new comer to the community and the EZScripting circuit John Jr. for making it.
Second on the plate is… Murs has been added as our fourth blogger. You’ll take note of his first post (below) and his own little category, won’t ya? We hope his inclusion will provide you all with humor, insanity, and insight into the inner-workings of his mind and his UDCU and other skinning endeavors. Also, we hope he can help keep this place active during our down periods.
Thirdly, On the Horizon, some new stuff should be heading here soon. Not only will episode 2 of PCTales be ready any day now (with 6 or so new missions), but maybe there’s a new fx pack in our future? We’ll see.
Also, I just want to let you all know that Heroforce once again had a major update and you can now find all of Ink’s meshes in one spot. Not only that, but Ink now has a gig with DC and will have his art featured in Secret Six #16. Keep an eye out for that one when it hits stands in December! Enjoy the updates, gang!

We’ve a lot to talk about today. Coming to FRP this week is a series of blog posts. What do we have to offer, you ask? Well, Murs47 has given his short thoughts on Deadpool in “Highlight On: Deadpool”, Podmark is spotlighted, and FRP2 takes some time to recognize some of the other Freedom Force Community Sites! Also of notice… Ultimate DC Universe has been added to the site courtesy of Murs47! If you ever wanted to see what some Ultimate DC characters might look like, well, now’s your chance.
