Spotlight On…

Who’s that bad blue dude with the Hawaiian shirt?  HItman! That’s right. Today FRP2 decides to shine a white, but bright, light on the occasional skinner and movie reviewer Hitman to see what he’s been up to over the past few years. Is he just an ultimate tease or has burnout and the lack of time gotten the better of him? Please… us true thinkers know what really happened. Let’s just say a little vampire and a ton of explosives were involved. Intense, no?

Who is the real Detourne? Is he an alien sent from outer space to spy on us and get our secrets for an evil mastermind? Is he a shape-shifter akin to Mystique with the same malicious intent? Don’t be silly, gangers. Detourne is one of those low-key members of the FR community that you’ll take notice of, but you can’t always remember what it is he does (skinning and skoping). Today, FRP2 takes a shining to Detourne to determine exactly what talents he keeps under his sleeves, and why he’s been away from the content train. Silly, Det… we’re on to you.

If you’ve been around the FF circuit for any amount of time, then you probably know just how difficult making precise, and as accurate as can be, herofiles may be from time to time. Lucky for us, and the newbies that just happened to pick up the STEAM version of the game, herofile maker extreme USAgent is around making them for us. With over 2,000 herofiles in his stash for both FF and FFv3R, FRP2 takes the time to spotlight the occasional skinner, USAgent, to see if he’ll keep his shield in active duty… or something.

Who else in their right mind would have a church named after them? None other than fan-favorite skinner and lover of the New X-men, Podmark! When he’s not representing his precious Canadia, you can find him skinning up a storm. Ok, maybe not recently, but in the past, you know it. Oh, and lest you forgot, he’s the third part and evil guy of Heroforce 2.0, which is currently down at the moment. Perhaps a well laid scheme of his? FRP is on the case to find out as we shine our light on this wonder of dastardly deeds!

C6 is one of the oldest skinners in the community, and over all of that time, he has somehow managed to distinguish himself as the community-appointed cream of the crop. He’s the one that inspires others to up their game and, at this point, is there anyone he HASN’T skinned? Today FRP takes the time to shine the spotlight on C6 just to see if he’ll ever release anything… the giant tease.

JKC may not be one of the first names to pop into mind when you think of the skinners on FR, but he is one of the better creators still left around, though he seems to be in retirement. On the other hand, maybe you know him from his web comics, which he has hosted on his site, JKC’s Fantasy Theatre. Either way, FRP decided to take our light and give this multi-talented creator his shine time!

He’s the mesher of many requests, and he might just have the most meshes on the FR market. If you need a piece for a skope, he’s probably already made it. While he may not be active at the moment, Tommy has done more than enough work to quench the urges of the masses for both FF and MUA players. Today, FRP shines the spotlight on Tommy to see if he’s even considering returning to the fray.

He’s not the most well known member or coder around, but this script-o-maniac brought us one of my favorite FF1 original mods known as Metal Storm. And although he may not be all that active on the boards, FRP decided to shine the light on a fellow coder who may or may not be working up another storm to premiere for us fellow FF players.

He’s known as the dirtiest and most undead skinner on FR and he just happens to be a skinner that supports original skins over mainstream. Although he’s a colossal tease and has yet to release any of the works of art he showed off last year with Carravaggio, today we take the spotlight and shine it on DJ to see if we can find out two things: 1) If he’ll ever release any more skins and 2) How’s the undead life?
