Spotlight On…

If I wasn’t sure that Freedom Reborn was in a renaissance period before, the reappearance of Grenadier certainly cements the idea. As one of our old school meshers, Gren was one of the big dawgs that filled our FF libraries up with meshes ranging from DC’s Darkseid to Marvel’s Odin plus some of his own alterations. Now that he’s back and an official part of the Champions lineup along with newcomer Area34, FRP2 decided it was time to get some insight on this old school member to see what it took to lure him back into the community.

Although he’s new to the community, John Jr. has managed to leave quite the mark on his surroundings. First joining with Benton, me, and a few other members in the creation of PCTales, John has quickly expanded out and created his own solo work, which now includes skinning. We here at FRP2 have decided to shine our spotlight on John Jr. in the hopes of exposing more of his deep, dark secrets. Let’s see what dirt we can exhume, eh?

You might know him as one of the administrators on Freedom Reborn, or you may have stumbled upon his work in the superhero comic The Honor Brigade, but we here at FRP2 know him best as Zapow, the lawyer and friend of Dr. Manbot! Although he’s not active on the Freedom Force side of things, he still happens to pop up from time to time to make sure everything is running smoothly. So while we have his attention, FRP2 shines its spotlight on Zap to see what’s in the future for Toyboy and his friends.

He’s part of the brainchild that has spawned some of Freedom Force’s most popular and hugest sites such as FXForce, Gamma Patrol of Lichtenstein (GPL), and, of course, the original Freedom Reborn Productions (FRP). Also known for his FXing ability, MikeB7 is also considered to be one of the pillars of the Freedom Reborn community.  Now that we dragged him out of hiding, FRP2 shines its spotlight on MikeB7 to see if CoH still has a hold on his heart.

That’s a case FRP2 decided to take on as we shine our spotlight on Stumpy to see if we can lure any secrets out of him. Hmm, I wonder if he’s related to Stimpy (Ren & Stimpy)?

He’s known as the “Ultimate Fan,” but this skoper has been around and active in the community for years. Probably one of FR’s most prolific skopers, Style has managed to set the bar fairly high with each new creation he’s shown off. Now a member of the Champions of Freedom, FRP2 has decided to shine its light on Style to see what may be up his sleeves next.

Ahhh, Valandar the Red. You may know him as the ultimate Transformers mesher, but the truth is that he’s a man of many talents. From FXing to Mapping, this content creator has certainly provided the community with many unique gifts that one can use repeatedly. Today, FRP2 takes some time out to spotlight Valandar to see if we can lure him back into meshing… and if we can’t, we’re not above threatening. Don’t act like you wouldn’t do it too!

Ahhh, Daglob, Daglob. What do we know about him except he has a name reminiscent of a B-grade movie monster? Hmm, that’s a query we here at FRP2 hope to solve right now as we shine our spotlight on this skinner that happens to like his obscure. So, how about joining us as we try to figure out if Daglob is as gooey as we are wont to believe.

He’s a skinner that likes to tackle characters that don’t hover around the A-list area, and he does it with style. He’s a person that really likes his Russian heroes despite not being Russian himself. He’s a member with an avatar that threatens to hypnotize any and all those who watch. Who is this mysterious person, you ask? None other than Laughing Paradox, and FRP2 decided to shine a light on him to see what it’d take to make him love Iceman over Darkstar.

Who’s that bad blue dude with the Hawaiian shirt?  HItman! That’s right. Today FRP2 decides to shine a white, but bright, light on the occasional skinner and movie reviewer Hitman to see what he’s been up to over the past few years. Is he just an ultimate tease or has burnout and the lack of time gotten the better of him? Please… us true thinkers know what really happened. Let’s just say a little vampire and a ton of explosives were involved. Intense, no?
