Roundhouse Chat #1: Secret Avengers!

In an effort to add some more content to the site, Murs and I decided to have a quick chat about a new book this week. We chose to discuss Secret Avengers #1 written by Ed Brubaker and published by Marvel. Won’t you join us as one of us sanely talks about the issue while the other babbles on at random? I’ll let you guess which of us plays what role. 
Spotlight On: Grenadier

If I wasn’t sure that Freedom Reborn was in a renaissance period before, the reappearance of Grenadier certainly cements the idea. As one of our old school meshers, Gren was one of the big dawgs that filled our FF libraries up with meshes ranging from DC’s Darkseid to Marvel’s Odin plus some of his own alterations. Now that he’s back and an official part of the Champions lineup along with newcomer Area34, FRP2 decided it was time to get some insight on this old school member to see what it took to lure him back into the community.

Skinning Tutorial: Highlights

I don’t know about perfect, but this is how I go about doing them. If anyone would like me to go into more detail, just let me know.

It’s been awhile since we last updated, but FRP2 has returned to action with 4 new skopes by Cmdrkoenig, which you can download on our Skopes page. Please go check them out if you’re a fan of D&D and Land of the Lost.
Buffy: FF1 Mod

Sorry for the lack of updates, gang, but there really hasn’t been much to report… until now. Although this should have been a part of the FF1 Depot we here at FRP2 had during anniversary week, I just got the OK from Bredon7777 to rehost his old school Buffy mod for Freedom Force 1. Although it is only 2 missions long with three briefing screens, it’s fun to look at how we’ve evolved since the early days of modding, and Bredon sure knows his way around the Buffy/Whedon quirky dialogue. The majority of the Scoobies make an appearance in the story, but unfortunately, you only get to play as three of them. Also, this mod seems to be placed sometime during season 5 (Post-Riley), so if that’s your favorite season, what’s stopping you from grabbing this mod and playing your heart out?
