Old School, New School
Feb 27th
It’s been about a week since FRP2 went public and I’m proud to present quite a few new toys for you guys to play with. Included in this update are four old school ff1 mods some of you might remember from various people from the community of Freedom Reborn, 4 old fx that were released awhile ago but weren’t publicly available for some time, and some other misc. items that may or may not catch your eye. Go check them out, yeah?
Oh, right, the RSS feed was also updated and fixed for those that use such things.
On the horizon:
1. Hopefully some more CmdrKoenig maps that have been held off
2. Maybe some more old fx from the vault
3. Perhaps some more old school mods
4. More Misc. bloggage posts.
5. Two or so more Syn meshes which may or may not include a batmobile and/or Dr. StrangeFate.
6. A link page for more FF/FFVTTR goods…hopefully.
Coding Tip #2

Today’s tip…hrm:
Let’s say you want to freeze a character on a thirty second timer and you want the player to know about it visually with a clock. Not sure why you would want to do this, but why not? First, we’ll set up the timer!
Grooveshark
Feb 27th
There are plenty of streaming sites on the net, but why not add in another music oriented one to your bookmarks? Grooveshark is a FREE music streaming site that let’s you listen to a large selection of music that ranges from Game and Movie soundtracks to Classical music. If you don’t want to spend your hard earned coins on Itunes or in a store and just want to jam out to some music where ever you may be, this just might be the site for you. While it may not outdo some of the other big name music streaming sites out there, I think it does fine enough to be recommended to others.
Rewards1: What is it?
Feb 27th
It’s an age-old question and one that has plagued many a mind since the existence of currency. Just how, exactly, can one get something free? The short answer is that everything comes with a price whether it’s payable on day one or sometime down the line. However, the longer answer is full of variables. The truth is you always end up working for whatever comes free. Sometimes that work is simple and only takes a few minutes of your time. Other times it takes hours. Luckily, Rewards1 skirts the line between both. It can take a relatively short amount of time to earn enough points to buy something small, but if you want something super expensive, you’re going to have to work a bit harder.
See the full documentation about this experiment here.

Random choices:
Perhaps you want to give the player an option to choose something and then have random results come from it? While there may not be many practical uses for a function like this in a game like FF, it is fairly easy to do and can pull off quite a few tricks if used to a higher potential than I’m showing here.

New Exiles: Sayonara!
Feb 20th
I was a big fan of The Exiles back when it started out and I even sat through some of the stuff I couldn’t stand just to get my fix of some of my favorite characters. I honestly couldn’t wait for Psylocke to join them when I initially heard about it because it meant she’d actually be doing something again other than claiming her “tk could crush mountains”. Then she finally made the move, after several long months, and I ended up disappointed month after ever-loving month thanks to the talent of Claremont. More >
More New Stuff!
Feb 16th
As the blog post below this one points out, Cmdrkoenig has FINALLY released a few new maps-eleven (11) in total, so go check those out. Also included in this update, the completed version of Ultimate Trio + a mission 5 update for those with the previous four (4) missions, which also includes some minor fixes. Also up, my second fx pack with 40+ new fx for you to install and play with. Hope you enjoy them!
On the horizon:
1. The blog will branch out to be a bit more general.
2. Dana has a few more maps he’ll be releasing
3. Chuckles is holding onto a few new skins he’s yet to complete
4. Maybe some other stuff I won’t be mentioning as of now.
5. Some old school ff1 mods from Jands and Lude such as Herocity and a few other mods that may or may not be complete.
New Maps from Cmdrkoenig67!
Feb 16th
Hello everybody…I’ve been busy making new FFVTTR maps over the past few months and have recently uploaded several of them. There are also many more maps on the way. I hope you enjoy using them and please give me feedback on things I can do to improve them or if you have any suggestions for future maps.
